Walking Dead season two, episode one is the continuation of TellTale Games' The Walking Dead game series.
And what a series it is! For anyone who's played TTG's TWD season one, the game mechanics and all of TTG's loveable glitches will be nothing new. The choices you made during the first season will come into play, and the choices you make in the first episode will affect later ones.
Spoilers to follow!
If you haven't played the first season of the game, I have only one question for you; Why? Seriously, though. If you haven't played, it's not too much of an issue, as you can have a random choice generator to 'create' your season one playthrough.
The game mechanics aren't hard to pick up on, and the story isn't entirely dependent on you having played the first season.
It was highly speculated that we might play as Clem in the second season since we played as her caregiver in season one. It was still a surprise when we did. However, this is not the little Clem that we left with a dead/dying/zombie Lee. Eleven-year-old Clementine is a little older and a little harder.
We start off our adventure with a couple of familiar faces, as Clem is initially traveling with a very pregnant Chrita and Omid. The lighthearted tone is quickly obliterated in true TellTale style, however, and within minutes of the start of the game, we jump 16 months ahead.
Clem is quickly taken out of her small comfort of family and thrust into her own adventure.
I won't ruin any more of the story for those of you who haven't played. It's worth every moment of gameplay.
